Ed
has more than 30 years human resource management experience
in Australia and overseas. His clients have included, among
others, BHP, Rinker Materials, British Steel Corporation,
Woodside Energy, Shell, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, CSR Construction
Materials, John Holland and BGC Contracting.
Ed's
experience includes;

employed this learning as an employee and in his own consulting
business, Communication Matters, since 1999.
As
a result, he has learned that many individuals and businesses
are capable of achieving much more than they are actually
achieving right now because;
- Many employees have more to offer their
employers than they are presently delivering,
- Many managers have little or no idea
of the personal aspirations and expectations of their employees
and therefore, are not engaging the “hearts and minds” of
their employees at work,
- Improved alignment of organisational
and personal goals can rapidly and significantly improve
business results,
- Many managers and leaders struggle in
their people-management role because they have not been
trained properly to lead and manage people,

is married to Trish (for 25 years) and has three outstanding
children, Harry, Bonnie and James.
